1. The Indian economy is expected to grow at 7.4 percent in the current fiscal, slightly lower than 7.6 percent projected in advance estimates of Central Statistics Office, industry body FICCI said.
2. RBI has extended the currency swap arrangement to SAARC nations till November 14, 2017. Under the arrangement, RBI will be offering swap arrangement up to an overall amount of USD 2 billion both in foreign currency and Indian rupee.
