 Introduction

Project Tiger is a Tiger Conservation program launched by the Government of India during Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s tenure in April 1973. The main aim of this project is to protect the Bengal Tiger from extinction. On July 29, 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the data that India’s tiger population has risen to 2,967. Along with that in 2018, the National Tiger Conservation Authority(NTCA) estimated that only 2,967 tigers are there in existence in India. Nagpur is also known as the ‘Tiger Capital’ of India. RBI Cancels Certificate of Authorisation of 5 PSO:

RBI under the payment and settlement systems act, 2007 has canceled the Certificate of Authorisation (CoA) of 5 Payment System Operators (PSOs). The five PSOs, which also includes:

  1. Pyro Networks Pvt Ltd
  2. Card Pro Solutions Pvt Ltd
  3. Aircel Smart Money Ltd
  4. InCashMe Mobile Wallet Services Pvt Ltd
  5. Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System Ltd

Reason for RBI Cancels Certificate of Authorisation of 5 PSO:

Non-compliance with regulatory requirements: Card Pro Solutions Pvt Ltd and InCashMe Mobile Wallet Services Pvt Ltd

Voluntary surrender: Pyro Networks Pvt Ltd and Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System Ltd

Non-renewal: Aircel Smart Money Ltd

These companies cannot transact the business of issuance and operation of Prepaid Payment Instruments.

Following the cancellation of the CoA, these companies cannot transact the business of issuance and operation of Prepaid Payment Instruments. However, customers or merchants having a valid claim, if any, on these companies as PSOs, can approach them for settlement of their claims within three years from the date of cancellation.

  • The National Naturopathy Day is observed in India on 18 November every year, to promote positive mental and physical health through drugless system of medicine, called as Naturopathy.
  • National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), Pune under Ministry of AYUSH will be organizing a series of webinars on Gandhian philosophy of Self Reliance through Self Health Reliance on Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary celebrations from 2nd Oct 2020 and which will go on till National Naturopathy Day, i.e., 18th Nov 2020.
  • The institute will release a book on Naturopathy Day titled, Gandhi the Healer, which will be available for free download as an ebook from the NIN website (ninpune.ayush.gov.in).
  • The day was declared by the Ministry of AYUSH(Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy), Government of India, on November 18,
