NSE Launches WTI Crude Oil & Natural Gas Futures Contracts
- The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE India) launched rupee-denominated futures contracts on underlying New York Mercantile Exchange’s (NYMEX) West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil and natural gas in its commodity derivatives segment.
- This came after the exchange, in March, 2023 received approval from markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to launch these contracts.
