SPI and GIZ Tied up with MNRE to Extend role in Decentralised Renewable Energy
- The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) tied a partnership with Smart Power India (SPI), an arm of Rockefeller Foundation & Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to encourage Decentralised Renewable Energy (DRE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) innovations.
- The partnership was the part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in the lines to become Atmanirbhar Bharat.
