WADA celebrates ‘Play Safe on Play True Day 2020’
- On 9th April, World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) celebrates Play True Day with athletes, National and Regional Anti-Doping Organizations, Sports Federations, Major Event Organizers and other anti-doping stakeholders from the global Clean Sport community.
- Since 2014, in April, WADA and the anti-doping community worldwide have celebrated ‘Play True Day’ — a day that is dedicated to Clean Sport and is intended to raise awareness among athletes, the sporting public and others about the importance of protecting Clean Sport.

World Homeopathy Day
- World Homoeopathy Day is celebrated on 10 April to mark the birth anniversary of the founder of Homoeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann.
- World Homeopathy Awareness Week is celebrated annually between April 10th and April 16th, Organised by the World Homeopathy Awareness Organisation.
- Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine that uses small, highly diluted doses of natural substances to trigger the bodies own healing abilities.
- The theme of 2020 is “Enhancing the scope of Homoeopathy in Public Health”
