SC to set up high-level committee to inquire into security lapses during PM’s visit to Punjab:
- Supreme Court to constitute a high-level committee headed by retired Supreme Court judge to investigate lapses in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security in Punjab.
- A three-judge bench comprising Chief Justice NV Ramana and Justices Surya Kant and Hima Kohli was hearing the plea filed by an organisation.
- Ministry of Home Affairs has constituted a committee to enquire into the serious lapses in the security arrangements during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Punjab.
