Railway Recruitment Board has announced the notification for the engagement of Group D level 1 posts in railways in 12th March 2019. This recruitment is throughout all the zones. Consequently, every year the board has announced and recruited a lot of candidates for various posts. Similarly, this year too they had announced a total of 1,03,769 vacancies. The apply online link was activated from 12th March 2019. The final date for the submission of the online application get ends on 12th April 2019. A lot of candidates have applied and eagerly prepared for the upcoming exams.
Earlier the board has planned to conduct the online written exam on the month of September/October. But due to not confirming the Exam Recruiting Agency the exam dates are still in controversial. To select the perfect agency the board has called through E-Tender. But due to the out break of COVID-19 the prebid conference dates for the E-Tender has been postponed. RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2020: Physical Efficiency Test(PET)
Male candidates:
- Should be able to lift and carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down ; and
- Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
Female Candidates:
- Should be able to lift and carry 20 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and
- Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
