SSC to re-start GD Constable registrations 2018 today @ ssc.nic.in: Earn up to Rs 69,100

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) started the online registration process for SSC GD constable in CAPFs, NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) on August 17, 2018.

Earlier, the registration process got delayed due to heavy load of applications on the SSC website.

OFFICIAL NOTICE FROM SSC:

"The candidates who have already registered on the new website are assured that their details are secure with the commission and that they will not be required to register again," the official notice read.

TOTAL NUMBER OF VACANCIES

The registration process is being held to fill 54,953 posts (tentative).

Males: 47,307
Females: 7,646

How can you apply for SSC GD Constable 2018 online?

1. Log on to the official website, ssc.nic.in
2. On the homepage, click on the 'Apply' button
3. Enter all the required details, such as name, address, e-mail, mobile number, category, and educational qualification
4. Click to submit

Note: All the candidates are advised to take a print-out of their application form for future reference.

THE APPLICATION FEE FOR DIFFERENT CATEGORIES

Applicants from General/OBC category need to pay Rs 100. However, candidates from the other reserved categories are exempted from paying the application fee.

SELECTION PROCEDURE AND PAY SCALE:

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), written examination, and medical test
• The selected candidates will be paid between Rs 21,700 and Rs 69,100.
